The Asian Blogger Voltron (in Rashomon Style) – Part 1

What happened this weekend has many interpretations much like Rashomon. So here's my version:

Everyone flew into NY on Thursday night. lexxy_pie and JJ were crashing at my pad while caffeineguy and naka_chan booked a hotel probably in fear of having a spooning incident occur because of what they heard happened in Montreal. Everyone met up in the LES and there we transcended from mere individual LJ'ers into what hipstomp termed the Asian Blogger Voltron.

Still recovering from throwing out my back, I shuffled several blocks behind the pack. But as the night went on, my Vicodin infused cocktails loosened up my back and enabled me to keep pace with Galapagos green sea turtles.

The next night we met up for dinner and proceeded to Duvet for a party. Duvet wasn’t particularly interesting especially because you have to pay to sit on a oversized bed AND do bottle service. The best part of Duvet was the bathroom. Each stall had a two way mirror as a door, so as you do #1 or #2 you can watch the goings on in the co-ed washroom and if you see someone hot you can proceed and do a #???!!!.

The scene was tiring so we moved on. Some of the group left while the rest of us taxied to Roxy. By the time we got there, S&M joined us. Shots later my back felt as good as new and seeing photos later, maybe I really shouldn’t have gotten on the dance floor. Later on, the night got even more blurry. I just had flashbacks of an empty wallet, bulgogi, and looking at clock and seeing 5:12am.
